About the Founder
Roman Mak is the Founder and Executive Producer of Romak Productions — an Israel-based studio creating interactive installations, projection mapping, and live visuals for events, brands, and cultural spaces.
He works with a wide range of clients: real-estate developers, event production companies, cultural institutions, educational spaces, and underground clubs.
His projects span architectural projection mapping and sensor-driven interactive environments — from intimate zones to large exhibition-scale setups. He has delivered works for exhibitions with ~300 visitors per day and major shows visited by 10,000+ people.
Roman's approach is hands-on and production-first: strong artistic direction, clean engineering, and reliable delivery — from concept to on-site setup.
He also leads Hatqana, a growing community of new media artists and creative coders in Israel, connecting teams for collaborations and real-world productions.
About Romak
Romak Productions is a Tel Aviv-based audiovisual production studio focused on projection mapping, interactive installations, live visuals and video art.
We make visual projects for events, exhibitions, brands and cultural spaces across Israel — from large-scale projections and stage visuals to interactive installations that react to people, movement and sound.
We develop the idea, create the content and build the technical setup behind it. Depending on the project, this can include animation, creative coding, projection mapping, interactive systems and on-site production. Alongside content creation, we coordinate the project's technical delivery with appropriate specialists and the client's team.
